Browsers with ad blockers
Browsers with ad blockers can be downloaded from the Play Store. Many popular browsers come with an ad blocker by default, including:
- Google Chrome
Google Chrome only blocks misleading ads. So you can’t turn off ads completely. This feature is enabled by default. - Firefox
With Firefox you can block cookies, which also blocks many advertisements. To do this, go to ‘Settings’ and ‘Privacy and Security’. Next, set Enhanced Tracking Protection to Strict. - Samsung browser
You can directly download an adblocker from the Samsung browser. Click on the three lines at the bottom right and choose ‘Ad blockers’. Then you can easily download one of the proposed ad blockers. The Samsung browser not only works on Samsung phones but also on other phones with Android, such as OPPO.

Blokada is a free ad blocker app. Blokada blocks ads in browsers and apps. Please note, that you have to download the app as an apk file. This is not possible in the Play Store. So you need some technical knowledge.
